Well ok then.

So its been a few months since I last updated this thing, but hey, sometimes work gets in the way.
Here's something I've just started working on for fun. Its a Batman story, so that immediately puts me in the realm of fan art. But I don't care, this is just for fun and get me drawing again.

As you can see, this is just pencil work, and the first of 5 pages I'm still in the process of penciling.

Oh yeah, if anyones interested the Batmobile is heavilly "borrowed" from the Citroen GT concept. I bloody love that thing, even if it is a nightmare to draw.

CAP! Just a something I knocked up. I used fine-liners for the first time in years for this. I think I need a little extra practice with them.

Green Lantern.

Just a little something I knocked up this afternoon. In honour of the slightly ropey looking Green Lantern movie.

The Penguin.

Danny Devito looking pensive as The Penguin. It's a just a sketch that turned into something a bit more finished. I'm pretty happy with it. I hope its got a nice, creepy, grotesque feel to it.

Just a little something I've been working on while the Royal Wedding was going on today. Still trying to loosen up a little, but I actually like how this turned out.

Wolverine

Its been quite a while since I tried to loosen up my style, so after a great deal of trepidation I dug out the dip pen and went to town. This is what came out, and rough as it is, I really like it.

Comic book work.

Well its been a couple of months since I last posted, but fear not true-believer as heres something steaming fresh. Since shortly before christmas I've been beavering away at a new project. Just a little something involving werewolves in late 19th century Paris. I like to think of it as Moulin Rouge meets Dog Soldiers, Ginger Snaps and that one flick in which Jack Nicholson got to act out his everyday family life.

What you see here are the first 4 pages and a cover. Admittedly the pages aren't quite finished yet (a few touch ups here or there) and of course lettering needs to be added. But these pages are just a little taster of what I've been up to since November.

I do however still need a title.
